We have a super nice restored 1970 Chevrolet SS here at Skyway Classics with a monster big block engine, 4-speed manual transmission, red paint with white stripes, white vinyl top, and 12-bolt read end.
It is one of the nicest 1970 SS Chevelles we have ever had.

Under the hood of this 1970 Chevelle SS is a 396 cubic inch engine which would have over 350 horsepower from the factory with an Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake, Performance carb, Chrome big block factory valve covers, Dual exhaust, Performance spark plug wires, Open air element air cleaner with chrome lid and 396 decal, Power steering, Power brakes, Air conditioning, and a 4-speed manual transmission.
The engine bay is highly detailed as is the chassis with the dual exhaust running out under the rear bumper thru chrome tips on each side, and the 4-speed manual transmission that runs to a rear end.
Add in and the good grip of wide black sidewall tires on polished mag wheels, and you get this big block which is a true driver’s machine.
Interior
The restored white bench seat with headrest and matching rear seat interior looks as new and everything looks correct and just like it came from the factory back in 1970.
It has the Chevrolet radio in the great factory dash housing the gauge package that includes a clock, 4-speed shifter, tri-spoke steering wheel, black carpet, with Chevelle embroidered black floor mats.
The result is a Chevelle SS that feels like a time piece as it is in excellent condition top to bottom.
Exterior
Our restored Chevelle is finished in great red paint flowing over the cowl hood with white SS stripes, slick panels, blacked-out grille, bulging fenders, and the white vinyl hardtop profile.
The chrome bumpers, wheel arch trim, Chevelle and SS 396 badging really look great and draw people to the car at shows or even gas stations, and even the chassis looks super clean too.
