1970 Chevrolet Corvette

Why This Car Is Special

The 1970 Chevrolet Corvette's had relatively low production because of a labor dispute that started in May of 1969. This dispute caused the 1969 production run to be stretched 4 months and the 1970 run to be cut short. When most enthusiasts think about buying a Corvette they would like to find rare ones.

Well, the 1970 Chevrolet restored Corvette we have here at Skyway Classics is a rare one with the correct shade of blue as well as all the options it came with.

Mechanical

Under the hood is a 350 cubic inch engine that pumps over 300 horsepower with its 4-barrel carb, orange painted block, heads, and intake, chrome open-element air cleaner, aluminum finned valve covers, factory cast iron exhaust manifolds flowing back to dual exhaust, and a 4-speed transmission.

It also has power steering, chrome ignition shielding, fully independent suspension, four-wheel power disc brakes, most other factory engine parts in the clean and detailed engine compartment.

Interior

Inside there is that great interior featuring the twin C3 bucket with bolstering, matching door panels, center console and dash, factory Corvette sports steering wheel, the large speedo and tach, and you have a full array of auxiliary readouts just to the side.

This Corvette is comfortable too and has the AM/FM radio, tinted glass, alarm system, black carpeting, Stingray logo black floor mats, as well as the 4-speed shifter in the console.

Exterior

The paint color on our Stingray looks very nice and it was a rare color offered for only a couple of years. It looks super flowing over the stock hood and brightly highlighting the crisp lines of the shark-like nose, rounded fenders, and integrated rear spoiler.

Our '70 has nicely chromed intricate chrome bumpers, bright rocker panels, and iconic Rally wheels with chrome trim rings and center caps on the Cooper performance tires.

Conclusion

The restored 1970 Chevrolet Corvette we have here at Skyway Classics is absolutely one of the best classic car values you're going to find.

It is very rare, superbly crafted, has plenty of power with great handling, is a great investment, and is a 4-speed to boot.

Great Experience -
“ Great experience. Contacted Al on car that I was interested in. I flew in and checked out car and all was well. He even fixed a few extra items that needed attention as well. He delivered car prompt and all was great. Would recommend him for any of your classic car purchases. ”
