Why This Car Is Special

The restored and upgraded 1971 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 we have here at Skyway Classics is a highly sought-after collectible because it has what we believe to be the original “born with” #3970010 engine and drivetrain, verified by the engine code stamped on the engine and the “Z/28” code on the Trim Tag to prove this is a real-deal verified Norwalk built Z/28.

It is repainted in the factory correct color #43 Lime Green Poly paint code that is a very good color presentation.

Mechanical

Under the hood sits the 350 cubic inch small block Chevy engine that looks better than when it drove off the showroom floor with critical Z/28 mechanical components including its dual plenum aluminum intake, performance carb, tube headers that feed the dual exhaust, 4-speed transmission, black LT1 finned aluminum valve covers, performance electronics and red high performance spark plug wires, chrome open-air cleaner, and vintage air conditioning, with all sitting in a clean and detailed engine compartment.

It rides on its factory correct silver color factory mag wheels and black sidewall performance tires for the correct looks and period stance. Interior

The interior is done in black with twin bucket front seats that not only look great but are also very comfortable, matching rear seat, black carpet, door panels headliner, seat belts, billet steering wheel, 150 MPH speedometer and other factory gauges as well as some accessory gauges, 6500 rpm factory tachometer, polished shifter.

The interior is a freshly redone total package. They made sure the carpet, dash pad, door panels, and headliner look like new, but retain a classic factory-style look. Even the high-back bucket seats look like they should.

Exterior

This fully restored Z/28 looks great in the repainted factory correct color #43 Lime Green Poly paint with its aggressive style from the sharply-pointed front end to the full-width rear spoiler, it just exudes performance along with the cowl hood and black stripes, and Z/28 trim, and it looks as good as it goes too.

This Z/28 looks good from every angle with the form-fitting bumpers, bezels, trim, the dual exhaust, and the spoiler and chrome bumpers front and rear.
