1969 Buick GS
Why This Car Is Special
The Gran Sport name has been used on several high-performance cars built by Buick since 1965. In the GM brands hierarchy, Buick was surpassed in luxury and comfort appointments only by Cadillac, which did not produce performance models. As a result, the Buick GS series were the most opulently equipped GM sport models of their era.
The restored 1969 Buick GS we have for sale at Skyway Classics is a real-deal verified GS with the VIN number #44637 proving it. It is one of the first true factory big block muscle cars you could ever get back in the 60's.
It now has a 455 cubic inch engine that enables it to run high 12 second ¼ mile times which is not bad for the era. Ours has an automatic transmission, bucket seats, Vintage air conditioning, and the correct Grand Sport wheels with black sidewall performance tires.
