What Makes This Vehicle Special

The Ford Bronco was introduced to the Automotive World in 1965, and continued for 4 generations of body styles, until 1996 saw the end of the run when it was replaced by the Expedition in 1997.

The Ford Bronco was the first sport-utility vehicle developed by the Ford as it was originally developed as an off-road vehicle using its own chassis. It’s a favorite of celebrities, of adventurers, and of thousands of ordinary folks.

With the introduction of the New Bronco lineup for 2021 model year release, interest in the old-school Bronco is at an all-time high!

The 1996 Ford Bronco we have here at Skyway Classics is a two-owner car showing pride of ownership and is in very good condition. The odometer shows only 132k miles.

Mechanical

Our 1996 is powered by a great small block V8 engine with great power and torque to use for cruising or offroading. It is paired with an automatic transmission that shifts smoothly, as it should.

Steering is nice and crisp, and so are the brakes. A/C works and blows cold air to and inside everything works including the power windows as well.

All Broncos have part-time, dual-range four-wheel-drive and ours is no exception putting the power to the ground via the white-letter all terrain tires mounted on aluminum mag wheels.

Interior

The grey cloth interior presents very well as five-passenger seating is standard, with firm buckets up front, massive headroom, column-mounted automatic-transmission gearshift, old-time front vent windows that actually open, a feature long since forgotten on most vehicles, but a welcome bonus on warm days.

All seats, door panels, Ford Built Tough floor mats, and floors are in good shape in an interior that looks exactly the same as an F-Series pickup truck.

Exterior

The Bronco is painted in a nice blue with white compliments on the body as well as the top, great chrome on the bumpers, chrome mirrors, grey front grill, and all else looks good.

Conclusion

The market for these Broncos is on the definite up-swing.
