Why This Vehicle is Special

This 1966 VW looks just like it did when it left the showroom floor back in 1966. It is comfortable to drive, very clean and in great condition.

Mechanical

1966 Beetles came with 1300cc motors and we believe this one to be the original one it came with. The 1300 engine accelerates well and will reach almost 80 mph in stock trim. The engine has been maintained well and retains all the stock looking parts like the intake/air filter system, electronics, coil and exhaust.

She is paired with a manual transmission. She drives great and is a nice little package.

Interior

The interior looks phenomenal. The front twin bucket seats are upholstered in a nice white color as is the door panels and the rear seat. It has the stock shifter and steering wheel, grey/black carpeting and floor mats, gauges, glove box, and a full back seat too. It is in wonderful condition and really looks nice.

Exterior

The blue paint is called Admiral Blue and it is a great color. The paint itself is in good shape and looks great. The body is in good shape and so are the tires that ride on factory white steel wheels with chrome VW hub caps.
All the chrome trim, front and rear factory chrome bumpers, and glass is great as is the VW roof rack on top of the car.
