1969 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible
Why This Car Is Special
The Chevrolet Corvette (C3) was a sports car that was produced by Chevrolet and the 1969 Corvette we have here at Skyway Classics carries the iconic “Stingray” script nameplates on the front fenders as well as the long sleek look and the power to back up the look.
Under the hood you will find the small block 350 cubic inch V8 engine that puts out over 350 horsepower. It looks as it did from the factory as everything appears correct, including the polished grooved valve covers, aluminum intake, performance carb, and chrome air cleaner.
It has a clean engine bay and has a lot of factory original hoses and clamps but also the addition of an MSD distributor, plug wires, power brakes, and side-mount chrome headers and side-pipes for a mellow deep sound.
It rides on factory Rally wheels with BF Goodrich Radial TA tires that makes the Corvette ride as it is on rails.
The mostly original interior continues to look quite nice with black bucket seats, black carpets and the door panels, three-spoke wheel, 4-speed gearshift, the original gauge package with the large speedo and tach, full auxiliary readout package, heat/defrost controls, and the AM/FM radio.
Our 1969 Corvette Convertible looks great in a maroon paint scheme and is always considered as one of the best looking ever Corvettes with the chrome bumpers and hidden windshield wipers, and this one is no exceptions.
It has an L88 Cowl hood on it and looks mean. The black convertible top is also in great condition too.
The 1969 Corvette Convertible we have here at Skyway Classics is a great driver and a fun convertible to ride and drive and enjoy, plus it has the high horsepower small block/4-speed combination, great paint and body work, an exceptional interior, so who could ask for more.
