1980 Corvette Modified
Why This Car Is Special
We have not only a beautiful white 1980 Corvette here at Skyway Classics but a highly modified one that you can win with on the street and at the car shows.
1980 was notable because it was the last model year Corvette without a computer, but this Corvette makes up for that in spades with a to-die-for assortment of modifications. Powering this C3 is a built 350 cubic inch motor mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. You will need sunglasses when you open up the hood and see all the chrome, SS, and polished parts on it including the air, alternator, valve covers, power steering and brakes, and last but not least the blower type fuel injection type scoop rising up out of the hood!
Side mount headers flow into stainless “Stingray” side pipes and have a great performance sound. The Corvette rides on custom polished Foose mag wheels and performance black wall tires.
This stunning Corvette’s accessories does not stop with the interior as it has a very plush set of bucket seats in black with a center console with a wooden “pistol grip” shifter, and I mean a real pistol grip too!
It has all the Corvette factory gauges, wood trip, great dash, AM/FM Stereo radio, black carpeting, white painted dash, Corvette Stainless side rails, and even T-Tops.
The C3 Corvettes were patterned after the Mako Shark II designed by Larry Shinoda and built under Bill Mitchell’s direction. The fender flares were designed into the body contours, egg-crate grills with matching front fender side vents and larger squared front directional lamp were standard.
The Stingray body is one of the most recognizable muscle cars of all time, and ours with its bright white paint job is no exception and looks great from all angles.
If you’ve ever wanted to experience a true Corvette American legend, you can’t go wrong with the beautiful white highly modified 1980 Corvette we have here at Skyway Classics. Trust me, every one looks at this Corvette when you are driving it.
