1970 Ford Mustang Convertible

The Mustang has been running strong for more than 50 years and the 1969 and 1970 models were where they really went from Pony car to muscle car.

Why This Car Is Special
This Mustang has been built to be driven and enjoyed with modern conveniences and killer looks. Modern A/C and a 5-speed manual transmission will have you feeling like you’re driving a new Mustang. This car is incredibly clean and solid and has been meticulously restored.

Mechanical
This Mustang left the factory with a 351 Windsor and still retains that powertrain today. It has however been beefed up with an Edelbrock Air Gap intake topped with dual Carter AFB Competition Series carburetors with electric choke for easy starts. MSD provides the spark with a billet distributor, coil and spark plug wires. Cobra valve covers top off the engine and a chrome A/C compressor, billet brackets and billet pullies finish it off nicely. This car has enough show and go to keep anyone happy.

Interior
The 1970 Mustang interior was both comfortable and sporty from the factory, so it has been left basically stock. The high back buckets welcome you into the driver’s seat where you will notice a modern AM/FM radio that is designed to mimic the original style radio. A white shifter ball lets you know the transmission isn’t stock, it is now a 5-speed manual. The power convertible top is a lovely blue that contrast the white paint beautifully and has the correct two-piece glass rear window.

Exterior
Wimbledon White paint is given a bit of flash with a black hood stripe, hood pins, front spoiler and Magnum 500 wheels. Dual chrome exhaust tips exit the rear and contrast nicely to the honeycomb taillight panel. The paint is in excellent condition and is sure to earn praise at car shows.
