1970 Plymouth Cuda
1970 Plymouth Cuda
The Plymouth Cuda is the sister car to the Dodge Challenger and has some of the sexiest lines ever. The long hood and short trunk lid scream pony car, but the wide stance, shaker hood and bold graphics let you know this car is pure muscle.
Why This Car Is Special
This car has been restored and updated with a lot of power, great options and a killer look. The 1970 is the first year of the third generation and is based on Chrysler's E body platform. This Cuda is very clean and solid and needs nothing but a new owner.
Mechanical
340 cubic inches of Mopar power has been built with Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads, full length ceramic coated headers, Edelbrock Air Gap intake, Quick Fuel Technologies 4-barrel carburetor and topped off with the infamous Shaker hood scoop. This thing not only looks bad ass, but it is functional. It send that air that is rushing across your hood right into the intake for additional horsepower and a cooler air temperature. They call it a shaker for a reason, it shakes with the engine as that cam lopes over.
Interior
Black bucket seats and a center console are topped off with a cool Pistol Grip shifter. Everyone knows the Pistol Grip is a must have in a Mopar Muscle car, and this one has it despite being an automatic transmission. The gauges have been swapped out with modern Auto Meter gauges and a new AM/FM/CD/USB player has been installed cleanly in the dash. This Cuda has a modern A/C system to keep you cool on those hot summer cruise nights.
Exterior
Cream paint with black ¼ panel stripes denoting the 340 engine really make this car pop. American Racing Torque Thrust wheels are wrapped in BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires for a modern touch. Fog lights accent the front end while providing additional lighting for night time and poor weather driving. These Cudas are low and long and have all the right curves.
Conclusion
Stand out from the crowd of Mustangs and Camaros, and get yourself a Cuda. This car is built right, has great power and options. There is no need to sacrifice comforts like A/C, power steering and a modern radio to get a classic muscle car. You really can have it all with this Plymouth.
