The engine in our 89 is a 5.0L, 302 cubic inch OHC V8 with an iron block, 2 Valve Heads, and sequential fuel injection. It has 225 horsepower @ 4000 rpm and has 300 ft-lb of torque @ 3000 rpm with compression of 9.5.1, Power steering and Power Brakes, Air Conditioning, and has a 4-speed automatic AOD transmission.
Our Mustang starts, stops and drives exactly as you would expect. It pulls hard, revs smoothly and runs cool with excellent oil pressure, the car shifts precisely and brakes easily and in a straight line.
Everything in the car works as it should, including the lights, switches, wipers, gauges, everything and it rides on its original 5-spoke factory mag wheels and performance black sidewall tires.
Interior
Our LX has a white bucket seat interior of this Mustang that looks great. The dash, door panels, the controls, switches, carpet, and the factory radio is original and nice.
It has blue carpets and 5.0 logo floor mats, blue factory dash with all the LX gauges and controls, cruise control, black factory steering wheel with controls, power options are there like steering, brakes, air conditioning, windows, and the seats that all work great too.
Exterior
From every angle, the car presents beautifully. The blue paint is in great condition, the trim, lenses and exterior hardware are all great too.
The car retains all correct, factory badging, has a rear black luggage rack, black side trim, with black sport side mirrors. The white convertible top is like new and beautiful and the rear dual exhaust makes a great sound and adds a good look to the Mustang also.
