1971 MG MGB

Why This Car Is Special

The 1971 MG MGB is a two-door sports car manufactured and marketed by the British Motor Corporation later British Leyland, as a four-cylinder, soft-top roadster from 1962 until 1980.

A stark contrast from the big and heavy American muscle cars of the 60 s and 70 s, this 1971 MG MGB we have here at Skyway Classics has the pep under the hood to compliment the light and nimble frame.

It is painted in yellow with a black convertible top, inline-four engine, correct chrome wire wheels, upgraded radio, and a 4-speed manual transmission with an overdrive.

The chassis is a Unit Construction body with welded steel construction and the front suspension on a subframe. The brakes are disc front and drum rear.

Interior

The MG has a great black bucket seat interior with matching carpet, updated radio, manual black convertible top, matching interior and door panels, factory dash with the original factory gauges, black shifter boot, floor shifter with wood knob, and a nice finished trunk.

The carpeting, dash, and door panels, also carry this fresh feeling.

Exterior

The yellow paint shows off the classic lines of the MGB and this is an earlier model with the bright bumpers front and rear and grille, the black convertible top, and great chrome trim that makes this one of the best running, driving, and cosmetically preserved MGB’s left!

With the paint, the accommodating interior, great motor, and great handling characteristics, this little MGB is a perfect example of sporty European style and has a great presentation too.
