Under the hood you will find a much modified variant of a 496-545 hp cubic inch Big Block engine with an orange painted block, heads, and aluminum intake, Holley carb topped off with an open air cleaner, chrome valve covers with breathers, Power Steering , Wilwood Power Disc Brakes, Vintage A/C, MSD ignition, Aluminum Radiator, Deep Grove pulleys, Functional Cowl Induction (flapper) hood, Detroit Speed Tubular A-Arms, and Ceramic coated headers with 3 inch exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers.

It is backed by a Super T-10 4-Speed, Competition Engineering Rear Control Arms, and a GM 12 Bolt positive traction rear end with Stud girdle while rolling on 18-inch American Racing Torque Thrust Wheels and black sidewall tires.

Interior

Inside our 1971 restored Chevelle you will find the factory look of a restored twin front bucket seats and a bench seat in the rear. The rest of the interior’s presentation looks as new with the black carpeting, black factory dash with the digital gauges and Correct Factory Tach, Auto Meter under Dash Gauges, Console and chrome floor shifter with the white shifter knob, Tilt steering wheel column and the black Comfort Grip Steering Wheel.

It also has a clean and detailed trunk with the carpet and a rear mounted battery to complete the look.

Exterior

Radical styling changes were introduced for the 1971 Chevelle adopting a much more square look that ours has.

The restored PPG Base Coat Clear Coat black paint with the SS 454 badging and twin white racing stripes on the cowl induction hood and trunk it will be an eye catcher at any local car show.

The car boasts all the correct chrome trim and chrome front and rear bumpers really set it off as well as that great wheel and tire combination that gives it a great factory look and stance.
