We have a restored 1965 Dark Grey Mustang here at Skyway Classics that is a rare 1st generation 1965 with the pony car styling. It has the long hood and short deck that proved wildly popular and inspired a host of competition including the Camaro, Firebird, Cougar and others.

Our Mustang has a 302 cubic inch Hi-Po engine with Power steering, Power brakes, A/C, open element aftermarket air cleaner assembly, aluminum intake, 4-barrel carb, aluminum 302 logo valve covers on the black painted engine, correct hoses, performance blue spark plug wires, blue performance distributor, aluminum hi-volume radiator, with the engine sitting in a painted and detailed engine compartment all backed up by an automatic transmission.

Interior

The interior has a red interior with twin front bucket seats and matching rear seat, newer red carpet and black floor mats, matching red door panels, great dash with all the factory instrumentation and radio, red headliner, chrome automatic shifter on the floor in the red console, red 3-spoke sport Mustang steering wheel, and chrome and stainless trim also.

Exterior

The 1965 dark grey paint on our Mustang is very nice and is complimented by all good chrome, great bumpers, and rides on aluminum aftermarket wheels with raised white letter BF Goodrich Radial TA tires while emitting a great exhaust note via the dual exhaust.
