We have a pristine red 2002 Chevrolet Camaro SS 35th Anniversary Convertible here at Skyway Classics that has the factory sprayed glossy red paint job with stripes, a black & grey Interior, alloy SS wheels and fat black sidewall tires, and a black powered top.

This 35th Anniversary 2002 red beauty was also the final year of the 4th generation Camaro.

Mechanical

Our SS has a numbers matching 5.7-liter LS1 V8 engine with forced air induction feeding the electronic fuel injection that pumps out 325 horsepower and 340 pound-feet of torque, mated to a matching 4L60E 4 Speed Automatic Transmission with the power sent to the blackwall performance radials and factory cast aluminum wheels via the GM 10 bolt rear end.

These Camaro SS’s had a slightly improved exhaust and intake systems, bigger wheels and tires, a slightly revised suspension for improved handling and grip while retaining ride comfort, an arc-shaped rear wing for downforce, and different gearing ratios for faster acceleration.

Interior

Ours has a black & grey Interior with the front bucket seats even embroidered with the 35th Anniversary emblems, matching rear seats, black carpeting and logo floor mats, factory console and gauges, center console, power windows and locks, and is an absolute blast to drive with all the power amenities like power steering, power disc brakes, air conditioning, and the engine and engine compartment looks factory fresh as well as the rest of the Camaro.

Exterior

The 2002 Camaro SS here at Skyway Classics is decked out in the factory red paint with special SS badging and stripes, the SS Camaro hood scoop, black power convertible top, and rear spoiler.
