Our 1969 Z28 Camaro has the coveted DZ Z28 engine underrated from the factory at 290 horsepower @ only 5800 rpm, but it will rev past 7,000 rpm!
The original 302 cubic inch V8 engine is equipped with a four-barrel carburetor, a cowl-induction air cleaner assembly, ceramic-coated exhaust headers, finned valve covers, power steering and brakes, and power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt rear axle. A replacement dual exhaust system with mufflers has been installed.
The engine sits in a clean and detailed engine compartment and it has documented pictures of parts numbers and such documented in a folder that goes with the sale. Our Z28 rides on Silver-finished 15″ Rally wheels that wear chrome trim rings and center caps and are mounted with BF Goodrich T/A white-letter tires.
Interior
The front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in white vinyl and joined by a color-coordinated headliner, sun visors, and door panels. Details include a center console, woodgrain trim, a Hurst shifter, heater, and a updated stereo radio system, teakwood steering wheel, 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and an electric clock.
