Mechanical

The MG TD was built with a 1976 Ford Pinto 4-cylinder engine and with the car's light weight, that is considered enough that it truly offers a lot of sporty handling and performance. The engine in ours is peppy, is mated to a 4-speed manual, and sits in a clean original looking engine compartment.

The motor is a big reason why a replica makes for such a great driver's classic. It fires to life with ease and settles into a smooth idle and it handles nicely.

Interior

The very nice looking bright red interior consist of a pair of red bucket seats, matching red side door panels, wood steering wheel, wood dash, performance gauges, black carpeting, stereo radio system, and a rear luggage space behind the seat with a spare tire mounted on the trunk lid.

Exterior

The exterior om our MG finished in a beautiful shade of black with gorgeous chrome grille, chrome front badge bar, great chrome all around on the bumpers and windshield, dual chrome headlights, and is accented by chrome wire wheels with black sidewall tires.

This car gives you plenty of 1950s style but with more modern components makes for a great cruiser. That's the heart of the appeal of this MG replica.
