Our Lincoln's smooth and refined 400 cubic inch V8 provides effortless performance in the Continental with unbridled horsepower and torque and is in excellent condition today and runs superbly.

It is painted in original Ford Blue engine enamel on the block, intake, valve covers, and heads as well as the factory air cleaner assembly and all sitting in a factory original but maintained engine compartment.

It also has Air Conditioning, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Front Disc Brakes, a highway-friendly rear end gear, nice-sounding exhaust system, and rides on whitewall tires and steel factory wheels with chrome factory wire wheel hubcaps.

The 400 cubic inch V8 engine is equipped with a four-barrel carburetor with the power being sent to the rear wheels via a C-6 three-speed automatic transmission.

Interior

The tan leather interior feels luxurious and original, and with that in mind it's in good condition. It has very plush leather bucket seats, carpets, door panels, and headliner, wood on the dash, and all of Lincoln's trademark square gauges are in good condition. Options include factory A/C, cruise control, power windows, locks, and seats, and an AM/FM stereo radio. The back seat is as spacious as many full-sized cars today, and the giant trunk is outfitted with carpeting.

Instrumentation is housed in individual square recesses, and includes a speedometer, clock, fuel level indicator, oil pressure gauge, and coolant temperature gauge.

Exterior

If you want a great American luxury car with big block power and a great look, our light tan with dark tan vinyl top Mark V looks sweet all over the long, wide, and stylish.

This car is well preserved and has obviously been properly maintained all its life. The finish is good, just the way you'd expect from a high-end luxury car.

Chrome is abundant on the traditional upright iconic Mark V grille, shiny bumpers, and the side trim, with the Continental's trademark spare tire hump, oval opera windows, and dark tan vinyl roof setting it off.
