Under the hood of this 1970 Chevelle SS is a 454 cubic inch engine with an aluminum intake, 4-barrel carb, square port head, solid lift cam, disc brakes up front with drums in the rear, exhaust headers flowing back to the dual exhaust, factory cowl-induction open air element air cleaner with chrome lid and 450 horse decal, air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, and chrome valve covers.
The engine bay is highly detailed as is the chassis with the dual exhaust running out under the rear bumper thru chrome tips on each side, and the 3-speed automatic transmission that runs to a 12-bolt rear end.
Add in and the good grip of wide black sidewall tires mounted on the factory Chevrolet 5-spoke wheels, 12-bolt rear end, BF Goodrich raised white letter Radial TA tires, front and rear sway bars, and you get this big block which is a true driver's machine.
Interior
The restored white bucket seats with headrest and matching rear seat interior looks as new and everything looks correct and just like it came from the factory back in 1970.
It even has the pushbutton radio in the great factory dash housing the 6500 RPM tachometer and other gauges, chrome automatic shifter in the center console, air conditioning, power white convertible top, SS steering wheel, black carpet, SS black floor mats, white door panels, and black seat belts.
