1967 Ford “Bullitt” Mustang Replica

Why This Vehicle is Special

How rare is it to find a restored 1967 Mustang Fastback “Bullitt” Replica with a C-Code 289 cubic inch V8 engine with 4-barrel carburetor, headers and a custom exhaust, mated to a Ford C4 3-speed automatic transmission.

But we have one here at Skyway Classics that is finished in Highland Green basecoat/clearcoat, equipped with a new fuel tank, new black interior that features a Corso steering wheel, and is riding on custom American Racing wheels and black sidewall tires.

Most of you are familiar with the famous Bullitt Mustang driven by Steve McQueen in the movie of the same name. This car would be close to that configuration of that Bullitt Mustang but ours is a 1967 with a small block and an automatic.

Mechanical

Under the hood is the engine is a C-Code 289 cubic inch V-8 engine and ours looks meticulous in its clean, detailed, and painted engine compartment. It has an engine that retains the look of factory stock with the 4-barrel carb, engine block, heads, and intake painted Ford Racing Blue, open air cleaner assembly, polished aluminum finned valve covers, as well as the C4 automatic 3-speed transmission.

It has the original windshield washer bag and delivers great acceleration and is shifted thru the floor mounted shifter as this Mustang looks fast and is fast too!

Interior

The black new vinyl interior has twin bucket seats and looks stunning with its black carpeting, matching door panels as well as the back seat. It has a wood three-spoke billet Corso sport steering wheel, full factory gauges, center floor mounted automatic shifter, black floor mats, and a great Mustang logo radio system too.

Again, everything looks in like new condition and just has to be seen in person.

Exterior

Our 1967 Mustang has been refinished a great shiny Highland Green basecoat/clearcoat paint scheme that flows over the scooped hood, factory side scoops, and great fenders, as well as the Mustang emblems, bright metal rocker panel moldings, trim, and the iconic Shelby rear gas tank cap.

The stance looks right with the 5-spoke American Racing wheels and black sidewall tires as the Fastback presents exquisitely well and is ready for whatever style of cruising its new owners might choose.
