Our Monte Carlo is powered by what appears to be the original unrestored 350 cubic inch V8 topped by a stock carburetor, intake, Chevrolet valve covers, Chevy orange on the block, and chrome lid on the black snorkeled air cleaner, air conditioning, power steering and brakes, and all other factory components, backed by an automatic transmission and a 10-bolt rear end.
Underneath it is very solid, with no frame damage as well as a dual exhaust system that sounds great without being overly loud, 30238 original miles!
Interior
GM called the Monte Carlo like we have a personal luxury car and it shows inside ours which has a cream split bench seat, matching door panels, brown dash, with a gauge panel that was similar to that found in a Chevelle, gauges that are in excellent condition, burled walnut in the dash, original Monte Carlo steering wheel and pushbutton radio.
Exterior
Our Monte Carlo is re-painted in a factory shade of subtle yellow, has the factory left-hand remote mirror, Rallye 15 x 7-inch wheels with raised white letter Futura GLS Super Sport tires, sport suspension with a rear stabilizer bar, and white vinyl roof. It has great panel alignment, aggressive fender flares, chrome and trim is in excellent condition, and rides and drives very well.
