1967 Chevrolet Corvette Red/Black Stinger Convertible

Why This Car Is Special

We have a restored 1967 Corvette Convertible in the correct #974 Rally Red paint and black convertible top, with its numbers matching 327-300 horse engine, M20 4-speed transmission, power steering and brakes, side pipes, add-on 427 Stinger hood, and Knock-off wheels with Redline tires here today at Skyway classics.

This Corvette is as good as it gets for a small-block 1967!

Features

1967 Chevrolet Convertible

Original 327 cubic inch V-8 engine #3892657 Original HE Stamping Code 300 horsepower Manual 4-speed Transmission Chrome factory open air cleaner Plain factory orange painted valve covers, engine block, intake Factory cast iron exhaust manifolds Shielded distributor Power steering and brakes Dual exhaust with the side-pipes Black twin bucket seat interior Matching dash & door panels Console that houses the 4-speed shifter Repainted back to the original color of #974 Rally Red Retractable headlights Red/black 427 Stinger hood Black convertible top Knockoff wheels Redline tires

Mechanical

Standard engine in a ’67 Corvette is the 300-horsepower 327-cu.-in. V8. The 300-horse engine utilizes a general-performance cam and has a compression ratio of 10.0:1

Ours is the original, numbers matching engine as verified by the #3892657 engine casting number on the block and the HE stamping Code on the front pad that was the 300 horsepower engine in 1967.

It has the manual 4-speed Transmission, chrome factory open air cleaner with the 327-300 Horse decal, Plain factory orange painted valve covers, engine block, intake, factory cast iron exhaust manifolds, shielded distributor, power steering and brakes, and dual exhaust with the side-pipes.

It looks like brand new in the engine compartment as does the rest of the presentation on our 67.

Interior

Your first venture inside a ’67 Corvette will convince you that here’s a cockpit luxuriously rigged for two. Black all-vinyl bucket seats have the grain look of real leather with back-rests and foam-cushioned seats are bordered by narrow front and side bolsters that let you ride deep and comfortably.

Corvette’s instrument panel is a devotee’s delight. Safety-padded, vinyl-covered and replete with those instruments so important to the serious driver. The large speedometer and tachometer are front and center with ammeter, oil pressure gauge and electrically operated temperature and fuel lever gauges round out the engine performance indicators.

It has color-keyed deep-twist black carpeting covers every inch of exposed floor area as well as floor mats, rich looking wooden steering wheel, console that houses the 4-speed shifter, all is in original looking restored condition.

Exterior

Our 67 looks to have been repainted back to the original color of #974 Rally Red, again as verified by the Trim Tag. The Rally Red paint job looks super on the body with its retractable headlights, the front fender louver design, and is set off by red/black 427 Stinger hood and the black convertible top, wide back-up lights centered in the rear panel, and ours rides on the Knockoff wheels and redline tires for the period correct look.

Conclusion

This restored back to original 1967 Corvette Convertible we have here at Skyway Classics is a top shelf collector Corvette. The 327-300 horse original engine and 4-speed combo elevates it to one of the highest levels of collectability. Don’t miss out on this chance to own a 1967 Corvette icon today.
