A year ago, General Motors decided to give the 2010 Cadillac SRX a complete makeover right down to the very layout of the vehicle. Sharp, well-proportioned body work rides on a new platform, leading the new SRX to share very little with its previous incarnation.

The 2011 Cadillac SRX comes standard with a 3.0-liter V6 that produces 265 hp and 223 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed automatic is the only available transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard and gives it good fuel economy with an estimated 18 mpg city/25 mpg highway and 21 mpg combined.

Our engine and engine compartment looks as stock as it was when brand new.

Interior

The SRX's two-tone brown/tan interior is its single most appealing aspect with the great dashboard layout that features high-quality materials, solid build quality and an attractive design.
