The 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible that we have here at Skyway Classics has had a complete restoration and wears the factory-correct Daytona Blue exterior over a rare factory-correct dark blue interior, a color-matched hardtop and new white convertible soft top, with what we believe to be the original numbers matching SD code 327/300 horsepower engine and factory-correct automatic transmission, and was a former NCRS award winner.

In our 1963 Corvette, America's only true sports car, sits a SD code 327/300 horsepower engine and factory-correct 2-speed automatic transmission. The engine has all the correct factory parts like the chrome lid factory air cleaner, factory cast iron exhaust manifolds leading back to the dual exhaust system, four-barrel carb, shielded distributor, orange painted block, heads, and intake, power steering and power brakes, with all sitting in the correctly restored engine compartment as well as a chassis with all the right parts.
Interior
This Sting Ray offers a completely luxurious driving environment for 1963 and features a texture in dark blue on its individual twin bucket-type seats with a factory bolster-like design for more seating comfort and better lateral support.
The blue theme extends to the carpet, door panels, and dual sun visors, Corvette steering wheel, factory correct dash featuring all the round gauges, electrical clock, radio controls, factory radio, and vent controls that are located under the instrument panel on each side of the steering column.
Everything else inside looks NCRS ready and as it was when it left the factory and its restoration spared no expense which can be seen in the interior and convertible top which were both redone by Al Knoch.
Exterior
This 1963 Corvette convertible has had a body-off restoration with it being repainted in Daytona blue, as well as the matching hardtop, has great chrome front and rear bumpers, twin mesh hood louvers and side louvers behind the front wheels giving it both an aggressive and sophisticated look.
The lines are taut, fresh, and clean in every detail accented front and rear by trim wrap-around bumpers while it rides on factory steel wheels and whitewall tires which recreate the original look, but also wear a full set of correct hubcaps.
