We have a legend of a car, a great restored 1965 Ford Mustang 2+2 here for sale at Skyway Classics. The 2+2 Mustang Fastback is painted in a Poppy Red paint job with white racing stripes. All the lines of this Mustang Hardtop are great and straight as an arrow.

It has a great sound with the C-Code 289 cubic inch engine backed by the automatic transmission, air conditioning, restored interior, and rides on chrome mag wheels with black sidewall tires.

Mechanical

This looks to be the original C Code 289 Mustang verified by the “C” code in the vin # 5F09C277161 and looks factory stock with its correct gold air cleaner assembly and valve covers, all other stock engine features including the windshield washer bag, and even the factory correct air cleaner decal.

It is equipped with a dual exhaust system, power steering and brakes, air conditioning, and an automatic transmission with that engine compartment looking clean and detailed as well as original.

Interior

The restored all black interior on our 65 has bucket seats with a console, sport steering wheel, matching black rear seat, factory dash and gauges with an accessory tachometer on the steering column, air conditioning, pushbutton radio system, floor mats, seat belts, and is immaculate.

The trunk looks just as nice with its full size spare tire, correct mats, and the spare tire cover just like it had in 1965.

Exterior

The great red paint is set off by its white racing stripes over the Shelby hood scoop from front to the rear. It has fog lights and is equipped with chrome custom 5-spoke mag wheels on black sidewall performance tires. It has pristine chrome and stainless trim also, the cool looking Shelby side scoops, the hardtop vents over the rear side windows, 289 badging, and chrome mirrors.
