1970 Chevrolet Corvette LT1 350-370 Horse

Why This Car Is Special

When most enthusiasts think about buying a Corvette, they would like to find rare ones. Well, the restored 1970 Chevrolet Corvette LT1 350-370 Horse we have here at Skyway Classics is one is very rare not only because of the low number built, but because it is a factory ordered #984 Daytona Yellow Corvette with a #400 black interior, and a 350 cubic inch LT1 engine with 370 horsepower with the correct block #3970010 (see pics) and a 4-speed.

The 1970 Chevrolet Corvette's had relatively low production because of a labor dispute that started in May of 1969. This dispute caused the 1969 production run to be stretched 4 months and the 1970 run to be cut short and that makes this one even rarer.

Mechanical

Under the hood is a 350 LT1 cubic inch engine with 370 horsepower, 4-bolt main block, solid lift cam and kit, 4-barrel performance carb, aluminum performance intake, factory finned LT1 aluminum valve covers, open-element air cleaner, headers flowing back to the mufflers, power steering and brakes, performance distributor, flex fan, and a 4-speed transmission.

It also has a fully independent suspension, a clean suspension, and four-wheel power discs brakes.

Interior

Inside there is that great restored interior featuring the black twin C3 bucket seats with bolstering, matching door panels, seat belts, black center console and dash, factory Corvette sports steering wheel, the large speedo and tach, and you have a full array of auxiliary readouts just to the side.

This Corvette is comfortable too and has the pushbutton Corvette AM/FM radio, black carpeting and floor mats, map pouch, chrome 4-speed shifter, T-Tops and the pop-out rear window.

Exterior

The new bold correct #984 code Daytona Yellow color is a great color to have on a Stingray and it was a rare color offered for only a couple of years. It looks super flowing over the raised factory hood and factory black LT1 decals, brightly highlighting the crisp lines of the shark-like nose, rounded fenders, side vents, and integrated rear spoiler.

Our '70 has nicely chromed intricate chrome bumpers, bright rocker panels, and iconic Rally wheels with chrome trim rings and center caps running raised white letter Firestone Wide Oval Reproduction performance tires.

Great Experience -
“ Great experience. Contacted Al on car that I was interested in. I flew in and checked out car and all was well. He even fixed a few extra items that needed attention as well. He delivered car prompt and all was great. Would recommend him for any of your classic car purchases. ”
