The 1965 restored blue Mustang Convertible we have here at Skyway Classics is a rare 1st generation Mustang that has the iconic pony car styling. It has the long hood and short deck that proved wildly popular and inspired a host of competition including the Camaro, Firebird, Cougar and others.
Our restored Mustang has a C-Code what we believe to be the original 289 cubic inch V-8 engine with the Automatic transmission and has the repainted in blue with power blue soft top, and a white bucket seat vinyl interior.

Our Mustang has the C-Code engine which is a 289 cubic inch with a 4-barrel carb. It wears a chrome air cleaner system with the 289 decal and chrome valve covers, aluminum intake, correct hoses and wires, new air conditioning, power brakes, power steering, and all sitting in a factory correct, painted and detailed engine compartment backed up by an automatic transmission.
Interior
It has a great looking restored white vinyl interior with great blue carpet, white door panels, factory dash with all the correct gauges and instruments, correct white vinyl bucket seats, factory radio, air conditioning, and white/chrome tri-spoke factory steering wheel.
It has pristine chrome and stainless trim also as it too has all been restored to look as good or better than new.
Exterior
The exterior blue paint on our Mustang is nice and is complimented by all good chrome, 289 and Mustang emblems, correct Ford Mustang chrome styled mag wheels, thin whitewall tires, great bumpers, and the great looking blue Mustang power convertible top.
All the body lines and fitment are nice and it also has a nice sound with the dual exhaust system coming out the back underneath the rear chrome bumper.
Even the chassis is restored and painted and shows very little wear and tear.
