Why This Car Is Special

The 1932 Ford is one of the most recognizable hot rods on the planet. Cars have been customized since they were created, but Model As took on a whole new life as Hot Rods starting in the late 1930s.

This particular completely restored and modified 1932 Ford Roadster we have here at Skyway Classics is a stunning example of what a custom car can become. It is truly a rolling work of art! Everywhere you look this Ford will impress you with a custom touch or a subtle styling cue from the paint job, custom frame, V8 engine, custom interior, to the fat tires and SS wheels, it makes a statement.

Mechanical

The engine in ours is a small block Chevrolet that is topped off with a 4-barrel carb on an aluminum intake, has ceramic coated tubular headers that run to dual mufflers leading to dual tips exiting the rear, chrome Chevrolet Bow Tie emblem valve covers and oil breather, a polished alternator and a flex fan, custom aluminum radiator, performance spark plug wires, and sounds as good as it looks.

The engine is a gem in between the frame rails as the frame and chassis is painted to match the roadster as well as having steering modifications, the heavy-duty rear end, coil over shocks, chrome front axle and suspension, with the horsepower sent to a cruiser friendly automatic transmission.

Interior

The interior is absolutely stunning! Custom two-tone tan/brown leather has been formed with beautiful curves that accentuate the natural curves of the 32 body and give the interior a luxurious and rich feel.

The leather covers the custom door panels and the bench seat as it also has brown floor mats and carpeting, it has a tilt billet black steering column, black shifter lever, the painted dash with performance white face gauges which provide a sleek and classic look.

Exterior

A body is painted in a slick dark red paint that really pops in the sun. Shaved door handles and trunk handle keep it clean as the infamous 32 Ford grill that is highlighted by a chrome headlights.

Mirrors and a low style windshield finish off the exterior with a modern and sporty, yet classy look. It rides on chrome Cragar SS wheels that are wrapped in BF Goodrich raised white letter tires.

“ Great experience. Contacted Al on car that I was interested in. I flew in and checked out car and all was well. He even fixed a few extra items that needed attention as well. He delivered car prompt and all was great. Would recommend him for any of your classic car purchases. ”
