The MG MGB is a two-door sports car manufactured and marketed by the British Motor Corporation later British Leyland, as a four-cylinder, soft-top roadster from 1962 until 1980.
A stark contrast from the big and heavy American muscle cars of the 60 s and 70 s, this 1976 MGB we have here at Skyway Classics has the pep under the hood to compliment the light and nimble frame.
It has had one repaint to the original red paint color, a new black convertible top, new correct chrome Knock Off wire wheels, the original Fm radio, a 4-speed manual transmission, with only 40841 original miles.
It is probably one of the best running, driving, and cosmetically preserved MGB’s left and is well documented with lots of paperwork!

Under the hood is a 1798 cc 4-cylinder engine, backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. Power output is about 94 horsepower @ 5500rpm. The gearbox is a four speed manual, all synchromesh. The chassis is a Unit Construction body with welded steel construction and the front suspension on a subframe. The brakes are disc front and drum rear.
Our MGB looks original and factory stock as you can see in the pictures. It rides on black wall tires and new correct chrome Knock Off Wire Wheels to retain the correct ride and stance.
Interior
The MG has a great black bucket seat interior with matching carpet, original Fm radio, new manual black convertible top, matching interior and door panels, factory dash with the original factory gauges, black shifter boot, floor shifter with wood knob, and a nice trunk with the black spare tire cover on the spare tire.
Exterior
The bright red paint has had one repaint to original paint color that shows off the classic lines of the MGB with the offsetting black front and rear bumpers, the new black convertible top, and great chrome trim that makes this one of the best running, driving, and cosmetically preserved MGB’s left!
