The 1965 Rangoon Red Mustang Convertible we have here at Skyway Classics is a rare 1st generation Mustang that has the iconic pony car styling. It has the long hood and short deck that proved wildly popular and inspired a host of competition including the Camaro, Firebird, Cougar and others.
Our restored Mustang has a 289 cubic inch V-8 engine with the Automatic transmission and has the repainted original color Code J Rangoon Red with Black soft top, and a Code 25 Red vinyl interior.

Our Mustang has a 289 cubic inch with good horsepower with the chrome Ford Motorsport air cleaner assembly on the carb, polished aluminum finned Cobra valve covers, the engine block and heads in the correct factory blue shade, factory intake, correct looking hoses and wires, and power steering, with all sitting in a factory looking, painted and detailed engine compartment all backed up by an automatic transmission.
Interior
It has a great looking Code 25 Red vinyl interior with great red carpet, door panels, dash, correct red vinyl bucket seats with center console, radio, and red steering wheel.
It has pristine chrome and stainless trim also as it too has all been restored to look as good or better than new.
Exterior
The new 1965 Code J Rangoon Red paint on our Mustang is nice and is complimented by all good chrome, 289 and Mustang emblems, correct Ford Mustang chrome styled mag wheels, thin whitewall tires, great bumpers, and the great looking black Mustang convertible top.
All the body lines and fitment are nice and it also has a nice sound with the dual exhaust system coming out the back underneath the rear chrome bumper.
