1967 Ford Mustang Blue Convertible

Why This Vehicle is Special

The 1967 Ford Mustang Convertible always had the right look and with the 289 V8 engine it had good horsepower and drivability and was a classic for the kind of person who knows that Saturday nights are for the cruise-ins.

We have a pretty blue 1967 Mustang here at Skyway Classics that has a black top and interior that is a sight to behold. It also has that original 289 cubic inch engine and efficient drive train that won't drain your bank account to drive and enjoy.

Mechanical

The 289 cubic inch C-Code eight cylinder engine was an optional engine in these Mustangs and had about 200 horse power and 282 ft.-lbs of torque and ours sits in an engine compartment that is very original looking and correct with the correct factory blue painted valve covers and factory air cleaner assembly with the orange 289 decal on top.

It has factory cast iron exhaust manifolds, power brakes, and a single exhaust.

The engine is shifted thru a floor mounted shifter and automatic transmission. Our Mustang runs and drives well on the thin white sidewall tires and Mustang wheels and 5-spoke mag wheels type hubcaps.

Take a look underneath at the classic and you will see how it looks as clean as you can keep it and drive the Mustang.

Interior

The convertibles interior looks great with its twin bucket seats and carpeting, Mustang floor mats, matching door panels as well as the back seat. It has a three-spoke Mustang sport steering wheel, full factory gauges, and a great pushbutton radio system too.

The black convertible top looks good against the blue paint and the interior has a truly timeless sense of style. And you'll especially like to show this with the top down as it has the classic look as well as being sporty too.

Exterior

The 1967 Mustang Convertible looks great with its vibrant light blue exterior and black convertible top, factory side scoops, Mustang emblems, recessed turn signals, bright metal rocker panel moldings, and the iconic rear gas tank cap.

That gives this one exactly what you want on a sunshine-friendly convertible and it sure has the right look with the mag wheels hubcaps and the white sidewall tires.

Conclusion

The pretty blue C-code 1967 Mustang Convertible 289 we have here at Skyway Classics is a great example of the sporty Mustangs of the 60's, that many men and women bought that year, stylish, economical, but most of all, a lot of fun!

It has the right components for style and driving and makes for an outstanding Mustang that you need to get your hands on.

Great Experience -
“ Great experience. Contacted Al on car that I was interested in. I flew in and checked out car and all was well. He even fixed a few extra items that needed attention as well. He delivered car prompt and all was great. Would recommend him for any of your classic car purchases. ”
