The 289 cubic inch C-Code eight cylinder engine was an optional engine in these Mustangs and had about 200 horse power and 282 ft.-lbs of torque and ours sits in an engine compartment that is very original looking and correct with the correct factory blue painted valve covers and factory air cleaner assembly with the orange 289 decal on top.
It has factory cast iron exhaust manifolds, power brakes, and a single exhaust.
The engine is shifted thru a floor mounted shifter and automatic transmission. Our Mustang runs and drives well on the thin white sidewall tires and Mustang wheels and 5-spoke mag wheels type hubcaps.

Interior
The convertibles interior looks great with its twin bucket seats and carpeting, Mustang floor mats, matching door panels as well as the back seat. It has a three-spoke Mustang sport steering wheel, full factory gauges, and a great pushbutton radio system too.
