The 1977 Triumph Spitfire Convertible is a British sports car manufactured over five production iterations between 1962-1980. Styled for Standard-Triumph in 1957 by Italian designer Giovanni Michelotti, the Spitfire was introduced at the London Motor Show in 1962.

Popular in street and rally racing, Spitfires won numerous SCCA National Sports Car Championships, won its class at the 1964 Tour de France rally, and was named after the famed Supermarine Spitfire fighter plane of World War II.

Our Triumph has a great saddle twin bucket seat interior with matching center console and door side panels, new convertible top with a white Hardtop and stand that has dual gas bonnet struts and the under bonnet painted, Factory dash with gauges, Moto-Lita steering wheel, Padded roll bar and new seatbelts.

Exterior

The original color was Brooklands green (Frame area on front still original color) and was changed at some point to a metallic British Racing Green with Hella fog lights, a new windshield, rubber molding, new fuel pump and gas tank, dual air horns, LED lights including turn signals, marker lights, brakes and headlights.

It has removed rear rubber bumpers (Included if you want to reattach), a full spare tire with jack and tire iron equipment, a folder of receipts documenting all the repairs and restoration, and rides on 13" Minilite replica wheels with new Kumho tires.
