Under the hood of this 1970 Chevelle SS is a #3611959 period correct 454 cubic inch V8 engine painted in the correct Chevrolet factory orange paint with a lot of factory correct parts on it like the four-barrel carburetor, correctly decaled factory type chrome valve covers and air cleaner, power steering and power brakes with 4-wheel disc brakes, Ceramic coated tubular exhaust headers, Dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers, and aluminum intake.

The engine bay is highly detailed as is the chassis, which also has a tubular a-arm suspension, with the dual exhaust running out under the rear bumper thru chrome tips on each side, sway bars front & rear, and the 4-speed manual transmission that runs to a 12-bolt rear end.

Add in and the good grip of wide polished aftermarket 5-spoke wheels and black sidewall tires and you get this big block which is a true driver’s machine.

Interior

The black bucket seat with headrest and matching rear seat interior looks as original with everything looks correct and just like it came from the factory back in 1970.

It has a Custom Autosound Stereo System in the great black factory dash housing the optional U14 round gauge package that includes the tachometer, chrome Hurst shifter and white shifter ball, tri-spoke SS steering wheel, matching black carpet, door panels, and rear seat.

The result is a Chevelle SS that feels like a time piece as it is in excellent condition top to bottom. The trunk is also finished in trunk splatter and looks great.

Exterior

Our Chevelle is finished in silver paint flowing over the cowl induction hood with the black SS stripes, super straight factory panels, blacked-out grille, rear panel, bulging fenders, and the fastback hardtop profile.

The chrome bumpers, wheel arch trim, Chevelle and SS 454 badging really look great and draw people to the car at shows or even gas stations, and even the chassis looks super clean too.
