Under the hood is a 5.3-liter V8 engine which was standard on the LTZ and makes 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. The EPA says Silverado’s with the 5.3-liter V8 will achieve 19 mpg combined (16 city/23 highway).

Ours has a tan set of front buckets with rear seats in tan also with all offering thickly padded seats that give plenty of long-trip comfort.

It has a well-equipped interior with CD Player, Cruise Control, full set of gauges in the dash including a Tachometer, Tilt Steering wheel, Steering Wheel Mounted Controls, Telescopic Steering Column, and Power Windows.

Exterior

Our Silverado's exterior design doesn't stray far from tradition with its dark red exterior paint, a massive chrome grille, revised bumpers and more sculpted styling down the side give it a more modern, almost aerodynamic look, but it retains the square-jawed, all-business look of previous Chevy Silverado’s.

It rides on factory alloy wheels and black sidewall tires and even has chrome side-step rails too.
