Ours has a stout 400 cubic inch supercharged stroker V-8 engine bored 0.30 over with the great sound coming from the B&M Blower with a Holley 750 CFM carburetor, chrome air cleaner and valve covers, Oberg remote oil filter, Muncie 4-speed manual transmission, Blowproof bell housing, Hooker Super Competition headers, Power disc brakes, Aluminum radiator, Electric fuel pump, and Purolator filter.
The chassis has been warmed over with a narrowed 8 3/4 inch Positraction rear end with center-mounted shocks that puts the power to the ground through the polished racing wheels and Performance black sidewall tires.
Interior
The interior is in excellent condition top to bottom. It has a black vinyl front bucket seat interior and matching rear seat, Factory dash with the pushbutton Factory radio, accessory Auto Meter tachometer and gauges, Black carpets and floor mats, Racing seat belts, shifter with white shift knob, matching headline and door panels.
Exterior
The paint has a phenomenal bright red paint scheme over the great body panels and cowl induction hood. It has great chrome front and rear bumpers and trim and maintains the classic style while bringing in a bit of a racing flair.
It has dual exhaust with twin tips, chrome mirrors, and the trunk has the battery box and the plumbed fuel cell too. This 66 is ready to cruise and show and is sure to garner a lot of attention.
Conclusion
This very nice modified but still very original looking 1966 Chevrolet Nova SS that is incredibly cool. It has a great 400 blower motor backed by a 4-speed and narrowed rear end.
