Under the hood you will find a much modified variant of a 454 cubic inch big block Chevrolet with an orange painted block, heads, and Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum intake, Holley Sniper EFI system topped off with an open air cleaner, billet aluminum valve covers with breathers, cast iron exhaust manifolds, performance electronics and red spark plug wires, serpentine belt and pulley system, chrome alternator, air conditioning, power brake system with discs up front and back, and a performance radiator with fans.
It runs an automatic transmission in a restored chassis and suspension, 12-bolt rear end, dual exhaust, sway bar, and rides on polished aluminum custom 5-spoke mag wheels and great Nitto black sidewall performance tires.
Interior
Inside our 1971 restored Chevelle you will find the factory look of a twin front bucket seats and a bench seat in the rear. The rest of the interior’s presentation looks as new with the black carpeting and SS floor mats, black factory dash with the digital gauges, air conditioning, aftermarket Kenwood stereo radio, black sport SS steering wheel, matching door panels, center black console housing the automatic shifter, and black seatbelts.
It also has a clean and detailed trunk with the mats to complete the look and a car cover to help protect it.
Exterior
Radical styling changes were introduced for the 1971 Chevelle adopting a much more square look that ours has.
The restored grey paint is in great condition with the SS 454 badging and twin black racing stripes on the cowl induction hood and trunk it will be an eye catcher at any local car show.
The car boasts all the correct chrome trim and chrome front and rear bumpers really set it off as well as that great wheel and tire combination that gives it a great factory look and stance.
