Mechanical
Under the hood is the Ford legend of an engine, the 5.0-liter fuel-injected V8. These were powerful right from the factory and this one retains its originality and looks as it did when it was new.
The V8 fires up and runs great with that dual exhaust growl that tells you it is a Mustang. This Mustang drives great all-around with the GT suspension, power steering, power brakes, and a 5-speed manual transmission.
Interior
Ours has the saddle tan leather twin bucket seat interior with its matching rear seat and comes loaded with power locks, keyless entry, dual airbags, ABS, cruise control, power tan convertible top, power windows, air conditioning, stereo radio system, matching tan carpeting, door panels, and dash that match, 5-speed floor shifter, and the tan/black center console.
Exterior
It’s the kind of convertible that has retained its factory-correct status, and so it has not been modified and has that great red paint accented by the domed factory GT hood, painted front and rear bumpers, sporty rear wing, dual exhaust tips, good body panels, clean glass, and clean factory alloy mag wheels with black sidewall tires make it a well-kept classic.
Conclusion
The 1994 Ford Mustang GT Convertible we have here at Skyway Classics has great looks, a lot of originality, the 5.0 engine and 5-speed transmission, and that red color scheme with the tan convertible top.
These Mustangs have become as collectable as any other car, and probably more so in the future.
