We have a 2004 Chevrolet Corvette Lemans Commemorative Edition Convertible here at Skyway Classics that a 72-year old adult owned that is near perfect.

In 2004 was a big year for the Corvette. The C5 was ending its era and the new C6 was going to debut the next year. The C5 Corvette had historic racing victories on the international stage with a record highlighted by back-to-back GTS-class wins in the 2001 and 2002 24 Hours of Lemans and this 2004 Chevrolet Corvette Commemorative Edition Convertible we have here at Skyway Classics celebrates the final year of the fifth-generation of Corvette production with a special tribute to Corvette Racing's Le Mans-liveried C5-R racers.

The Commemorative Edition package included special Le Mans Blue paint with silver and red striping as seen on the C5-R, crossed-flag embroidery on the seat headrests, silver front and rear emblems recalling Corvette's success at Le Mans, and recently black powder-coated wheels with Commemorative center inserts.

It has an all-aluminum LS1 350 cubic inch V-8, a Chevrolet production first, capable of over 190 MPH. Its fuel-injected 5.7L/350 horse V-8 is teamed with a 4-speed overdrive automatic transaxle, limited-slip differential, speed-sensitive power rack-and-pinion steering, and 4-wheel power disc brakes.

Ours has red engine fuel rail covers, Active Handling, F-55 Magnetic Selective Ride Control, Borla ATAK Performance Exhaust (Was $1240.00), new Magnetic Ride and brakes, new black powder coated Aluminum Wheels with Lemans Commemorative Special Hub covers, newer tires, and everything else on this engine looks just like it was when it left Bowling Green in 2004.

Inside is a special fully-loaded interior with Shale Power Sport Seats, crossed-flag embroidery stitched in the headrests, Dual Zone Conditioning Memory Package, Fog Lamps, Telescoping Steering Column, Heads Up Display, Factory Bose AM/FM/CD/Cassette Stereo Radio System with 12-Disk CD Player in the trunk, Twilight Sentinel, Cruise control, Remote trunk release, Cargo net, Leather steering wheel, Dual illuminating vanity mirrors ,Leather trim shift knob, Trip computer Tachometer, Clock, and Low fuel level warning.

The Commemorative Edition Corvette features code 19L Lemans Blue metallic paint, silver front and rear commemorative badges, Lemans Blue Exterior trim, added Decal Package from the Parade Lap Corvettes at the 88th running of the Indianapolis 500 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on May 30, 2004, and a Shale Convertible Top.

It also has had a new Ceramic Coated Paint Protection, new painted Wicker-bill Spoiler, car cover, Battery Cover, Red Z06 Fuel Rail Covers and stock black ones, Two sets of floor mats, Red Corvette Caliper Covers, Stainless Exhaust Plate, and always in garage and under the cover.
