1982 Jeep Scrambler
Why This Car Is Special
The Jeep is as American as apple pie and baseball. They are one of the most customizable vehicles on the planet, and this 1982 Jeep Scrambler we have here at Skyway Classics is a fantastic restoration with small block Chevrolet power now.
This Jeep Scrambler has been restored inside and out but still retains the metal body. This IS NOT a fiberglass body. Almost every nut and bolt on this Jeep has been restored, cleaned, or replaced in the last few years.

Mechanics
The original engine has been upgraded to a much more powerful GM 350 cubic inch crate engine with over 350 horsepower with a lot of added parts like the coated headers, Edelbrock Aluminum Intake, 4-barrell carb, Power steering, Air conditioning, chrome open element air cleaner, and the over-sized aftermarket radiator, with power going to the ground via the GM 700R4 transmission.
The longer wheelbase enhances the Scrambler’s stability over off-road rough spots and helps it handle a bit more predictably.
Interior
The interior looks fresh with its black high-back bucket seats, console, matching black door panels, black dash with all the factory gauges, switches, and controls, chrome floor shifter, black steering wheel, air conditioning, aftermarket stereo radio, black carpet and Jeep floor mats.
This Jeep had a complete every-nut-and-bolt restoration on the interior, as well as the body and the engine transplant.
Exterior
Our Scrambler has a laser straight red repainted body with the black Scrambler graphics, five-foot bed, red factory roll bar, Black step bars, rear spare tire mount with full size spare tire and wheel, fiberglass fender flares on all corners, and rides on Alloy custom aftermarket wheels with Wild Country Radial MTX Baja MTZ tires.
This Jeep must be seen because as nice as the pictures show it to be, its nicer.
Conclusion
This 1982 Jeep Scrambler we have here at Skyway Classics is ready to roll to the beach, off road, local car shows, or use it as your daily driver.
These Scramblers are a lot rarer than a CJ7, and like them, they are going up in value and always will have.
