Gorgeous 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang Convertible
History
The first-generation Ford Mustang was manufactured by Ford from March 1964 until 1973. The introduction of the Mustang created a new class of automobile known as the pony car. The Mustang’s styling, with its long hood and short deck, proved wildly popular and inspired a host of competition.
It was initially introduced as a hardtop and convertible with the fastback version put on sale in August 1964.

Mechanical Specs
The car carries a 289 cubic inch V8 and C4 automatic transmission that have been rebuilt to perfection. Properly dressed with a black block and chrome valve covers and air cleaner. The engine bay is correctly detailed with reproduction decals and even a washer bag on the inner fender.
Interior
Standard equipment for the early 1965 Mustangs included front seat belts, a glove box light, and a padded dashboard and this Mustang has a flashy red interior, almost every component inside this Mustang is refurbished or brand new. Correct seat covers are stretched over factory bucket seats, there are new carpets on the floor and beautifully finished door panels.
It has restored original seat belts, the white power convertible top, which stows under a matching white boot, and a rare smaller T-handle topping off the automatic transmission shifter.
Exterior
The bodywork is great with beautiful chrome bumpers, the stock grille insert with four bars surrounding the corral, and 289 badges on the front fenders to signify the 289 V8 in the engine compartment.
