Why This Car Is Special

In the 1970s, the Monte Carlo, like the 1975 Chevrolet Monte Carlo we have for sale here at Skyway Classics, dominated the sport sedans market. The Monte Carlos were always popular and these vintage Monte Carlos remain desirable machines today.

This 1975 Monte Carlo has the original 350 cubic inch engine, automatic transmission, tan cloth seats, landau top, and the odometer reads just under 75,000 miles.

Mechanical

The 350 cubic inch small block V8 was still the powerplant of choice for a majority of Monte Carlo buyers, and its smooth, torquey performance is ideal in the personal luxury coupe.

Ours is nicely finished in Chevy Orange, and still carries its original equipment like the stock carburetor, intake, orange valve covers match the Chevy orange enamel on the block, and black snorkeled air cleaner, and all other factory components, backed by an automatic transmission and a 10-bolt rear end.

Underneath it is very solid, with no frame damage and original floors, as well as a single exhaust system that sounds great without being overly loud, and it rides on classic steel wheels with hubcaps and whitewall tires.

Interior

This personal luxury coupe we have has a seldom-seen checkered tan interior with both the front and rear seats in excellent shape. Even the door panels and carpet carry on the tan theme as well as the stock dash that offers a sporty look with round pods holding gauges, stereo radio, power brakes, power steering, and seat belts.

The trunk is sizable and carries a full-sized spare and jack assembly, full size tire, and cover with a mat too.

Exterior

Our Monte Carlo is painted in a factory shade of Medium Orange with the tan vinyl roof. The swooping fender lines and forward-arching profile give it a classic look that works with the long hood/short deck styling showcasing the great paint.

The chrome front and rear bumpers are great as is the grille, lower rocker trim, and the unique taillights that would become a Monte Carlo trademark for years to come.
