We have a 1990 Chevrolet Corvette Red Convertible with just 25,954 original miles here at Skyway Classics that has a fantastic red finish, red interior, chrome mag wheels, and an upgraded power leather seats interior with an upgraded sound system.
Mechanical
These C4 Corvettes are comfortable, reliable, and fast, and have so much performance bang for the buck. Corvettes were pushing technological barriers in 1990, and this convertible is equipped with just about every trick GM could dream up. Ours has the L98 5.7L 350 cubic inch V8 engine that had 250 horsepower and 350 ft-lb of low-end torque and is backed by the 4-speed automatic transmission, but it now has many upgrades and an estimated 300-350 horsepower.
This Corvette has been modified with a Performance Computer chip that gives it more horsepower, quicker shifts, and upgrades it for the other performance features too. It also has a complete set of Hooker headers with the exhaust gases travelling back thru the dual exhaust system.
Our Corvette L98 and its engine compartment looks like it did from day one and has 4-wheel disc brakes, a sporty suspension, a custom set of chrome mag wheels with a deeper offset than what came on it standard.
That offset provides a wider stance for improved handling and traction and has 275/40R17 front with 315/35R17 rear tires on polished 17" wheels.
Interior
The Corvette has the great upgraded power red leather bucket seat interior with power locks and windows, A/C, tilt column, digital/analog instrument panel and the digital gauges, upgraded sound system and floor mats and the black convertible top that is in great shape as well.
Exterior
Our C4 was built in the factory in Bowling Green, KY and the red paint shows well and looks as good it was new. Nothing looks as sinister as a Red/Red/Black Corvette with shiny wheels, and a great sound coming from the dual exhaust system.
Our paint job and body work looks super with great styling that these C4's had and they are rare as Chevy built 23,646 Corvettes in 1990 with only 7630 convertibles.
