1997 Nissan Truck
Why This Car Is Special
Buyers expect a lot from small pickups. Pickups are expected to carry loads, go off road, and take the abuse of construction sites and vacation trips. At the same time, they are expected to be reliable, comfortable and good looking. Filling all those needs is a tall order.
But we have a great 1997 Nissan Pickup truck here at Skyway Classics that fits all of those descriptions.
Mechanical
Our Nissan is powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission. This engine generates 134 horsepower at 5200 rpm and 154 lbs.-ft. of torque at 3600 rpm.
This is one of the most powerful standard engines among the compact trucks and it is a four-wheel drive too. It also has power steering and rear-wheel anti-lock brakes and sits in a very clean and detailed engine compartment looking as new as it was in 1997.
Interior
The two-tone grey and tweed twin bucket seats provides space for two people withe storage space behind the seats.
It has grey carpeting and Nissan logo floor mats, a car-like dashboard houses that houses a speedometer, fuel gauge, water temperature gauge, tachometer, air conditioning, a Pioneer AM/FM/cassette with a sound system, and a center console.
Exterior
The Nissan Truck has a great black paint job to showcase the rounded corners and bulging fenders and is complimented by a lot of chrome like the grill guard, side steps, front and rear bumpers, trim, and mirrors.
The suspension consists of independent struts with torsion bar springs and a 23-mm anti-roll bar up front with a solid axle and leaf springs in the rear. This sturdy combination gives the Nissan a smooth, car-like feel, while giving it the ability to conquer the most challenging off-road terrain as it rides on the original Nissan factory mag wheels with great blackwall tires.
Conclusion
1997 Nissan Pickup truck we have here at Skyway Classics is a great solid truck with a beefy chassis, a powerful driveline and a body that is stylish and distinctive. This Nissan is well-suited to handling whatever chores are assigned to it. Our 1997 offers a lot of truck for a relatively small price.
