1956 Black Ford Victoria
Why This Car Is Special
The Ford Victoria is a rear-wheel-drive full-size sedan that was marketed by Ford with the first use of the Victoria nameplate by Ford in the 1955 model year as part of the Ford Fairlane range.
The black 1956 Ford Victoria we have at Skyway Classics is your chance to get your hands on something rare, beautiful, and exceptionally interesting. Ours has been completely restored and painted in factory-correct shade of Paint Color Code A Raven Black.
According to the Trim Tag this 1956 Ford Tudor Victoria has a Vin Number of M6FV330208, which means it was built at the Code F Dearborn, MI Assembly Plant on July 11, 1956, so it was a late made car for that year.
Mechanical
When you open the hood it has the original motor stamped EDB6015B that is an Engine Code M 292 cubic inch OHV engine with a 4V Carb rated at 202 horsepower.
It was one of the largest motors Ford offered back then. The authentic restoration continues in the engine bay. It looks as good as it did the day it left the factory in Dearborn back in 1956.
The motor wears its correct air cleaner, valve covers, red engine block, windshield “See Clear” washer bag, and more. The engine is mated to a 3-speed manual transmission with the exhaust exiting the rear.
Interior
The restored interior matches the outside paint scheme with its beautiful Interior Trim Code AD White Vinyl and Black Cloth on the seats front and rear, side panels that have a similar flowing design to emulate the exterior trim, dashboard with recessed gauge package, and black painted steering wheel.
Heck, it even has the period fuzzy dice hanging on the rear-view mirror.
Exterior
This 1956 has been completely restored and painted in factory-correct shade of Paint Color Code A Raven Black which gives makes it look lower, wider, and longer than earlier models and really gives it the 50s look with the wide whitewall tires, red painted factory wheels, and factory hubcaps to give it that factory stock look.
All the chrome on the front and rear bumpers, side styling trim, emblems, as well as the glass and rear wheel fender skirts look as good as new.
Conclusion
This rare black beauty of a 1956 Ford Victoria we have at Skyway Classics has been restored to a great level and you will be proud to own and drive it to the car shows or raises year round.
