"Sleeper" 1966 Chevrolet Biscayne

The Chevrolet Biscayne was a series of full-size cars produced by the American manufacturer Chevrolet between 1958 and 1972. Named after a show car displayed at the 1955 General Motors Motorama, the Biscayne was the least expensive model in the Chevrolet full-size car range (except the 1958-only Chevrolet Delray). The absence of most exterior and fancy interior trimmings remained through the life of the series, as the slightly costlier Chevrolet Bel Air offered more interior and exterior features at a price significantly lower than the mid-line Chevrolet Impala.

However, customers could purchase a Biscayne with any of Chevrolet's high-output big-block V8 engines and performance-oriented transmissions, including the floor-mounted four-speed manual transmission with Hurst shifter and low-ratio final drive. Original production numbers of cars built this way were very low, and examples of these high-performance cars are highly sought after by collectors today.

If you ever wanted one of these 427 Biscaynes, now is the time to get to Skyway Classics today. We have one in white, with the spartan black bench seat interior, 4-speed transmission, the 454 big block Chevy engine (engine casting #14015445), "poverty” hub caps on white painted steel wheels, performance tires, and dual exhaust.

It also comes with original paperwork including the build sheet, owner's manual, Protection Plan book and more. Check out the Vin Tag and Trim Tag Info below: Vin Tag

#153116D214271, 15311 = Chevrolet Biscayne 2-Door Sedan, 6 = 1966, D = Doraville (Atlanta) Georgia, 214271 = Production Number

The 1966 Chevrolet Biscayne we have here at Skyway is a nicely done copy of a very fast part of Chevrolet history, a time when big block engines ruled the day…and the street. You too can rule the street if you come down and buy this 1966 Chevrolet Biscayne we have at Skyway Classics.

Great Experience -
“ Great experience. Contacted Al on car that I was interested in. I flew in and checked out car and all was well. He even fixed a few extra items that needed attention as well. He delivered car prompt and all was great. Would recommend him for any of your classic car purchases. ”
