1968 DODGE
POLARA
Eye-catching 1968 Dodge Polara, Drives like a Champ
History The Dodge Polara is an automobile introduced in the United States for the 1960 model year as Dodge's top-of-the-line full-size car.
The name Polara is a reference to the Polaris star, in a marketing attempt to appeal to the excitement surrounding the Space Race during the early 1960s. The Polara was a competitor to the Ford Galaxie 500 and the Chevrolet Impala.
When it was introduced in 1960, the Dodge Polara sat at the top of the trim levels for the brand's full-sized cars. Two years later, the Polara would drop down to the base model and to an intermediate car. Through the end of production in 1968 they sold well. These classic cars include styling that resonates with their era and that make them popular collectibles today.
Features & Options The 1968 Dodge Polara we have at Skyway Classics shows well with it's color combination of Medium Turquoise paint and Arctic White top and interior. All the body panels are the original sheet metal it was born with.
It is powered by a numbers matching 318 V8 and automatic and has Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, Power Top, and runs and drives great on the Factory Magnum wheels and great tires.
The new white top is a Power Top with a glass window. It also comes with the original Build Sheet.
