Our 2018 Z06 has a mind-boggling 6.2L (376 ci) supercharged V8 with 650 horsepower @ 6400 rpm and 650 lb-ft of torque @ 3600 rpm, enough that if you mash the throttle from standstill, 60mph will flash by in a blistering 2.95 seconds and keep you pushed back into your bucket seat all the way north to almost 200 mph!
The 650 horsepower and equal amount of torque in lb-ft available from the 6.2-liter supercharged V8 are simply monumental figures that feel even bigger when you're behind the wheel. It's all sent to the rear wheels via the 8-speed automatic with the electronic limited slip differential to help.
The suspension in the Z06 definitely is on the firm side, but also offers exceptional support against body roll through corners. The steering is accurate and quick, darting whichever way you point it without pause for thought.
