This Corvette just exudes performance from the minute you open the hood and see the 396/425-HP engine in it.

It has a Holley Sniper fuel injection, aluminum intake, 4-speed manual transmission, open element air cleaner, finned aluminum Chevrolet script valve covers, orange painted block, performance distributor, Wildwood power disc brakes, Flaming River power steering, and Vintage heat and air-conditioning.

This engine gives sprightly around-town performance and cruises at highway speeds at no more than an easy loaf. The gasses are sent back through the side exhaust for an ominous sound!

Interior

This restored Sting Ray offers a completely luxurious driving environment. The interior features a complete Al Knock red interior with twin individual bucket seats that have a factory bolster-like design for more seating comfort and better lateral support.

The red theme extends to the carpet, door panels, and dual sun visors with controls for the outside-air-type heater and defroster located on the central console along with the electrical clock and radio controls and vent controls that are located under the instrument panel on each side of the steering column.

Matched speedometer and tachometer are the primary instruments in the Sting Ray with a re-settable trip odometer, head-light switch, radio, head-lamp retractor switch, hood release, and four-position ignition switch to complete the instrument panel with the great factory wood steering wheel also, a Custom auto sound system, a red cloth soft top, and a white painted hard top.

Exterior

The styling on our 1965 Sting Ray is beautiful and ours is covered with its bright white PPG base coat clear coat paint job flowing over the big block hood with a red stinger and louvers behind the front wheels that help increase air flow through the engine compartment, giving it both an aggressive and sophisticated look.

All the emblems, the rear bumpers and taillights, door handles, the flip-up gas cap, and the white convertible top remain in restored as-new condition as well as the custom Custom-order Billet Wheels and black sidewall tires.
