2002 Camaro SS

Why This Car Is Special

The fourth-generation Camaro debuted in 1993 on an updated F-body platform. It retained the same characteristics since its introduction in 1967, rear-wheel drive, and pushrod V8 engines.

We have a stealthy black 2002 Chevrolet Camaro SS here at Skyway Classics today that is powered by the great built and modified LS1 engine that was featured in the Corvette and was the last year for this particular body style.

These Camaros are blazingly quick, hold the road tenaciously, cost less than the average price of a new car in this country and get decent gas mileage when they're not being hammered along a twisty two-lane road.

Mechanical

Ours has the original 5.7 L LS1 engine that was the first all-aluminum engine offered in a Camaro since the 1969 ZL-1 and it carries a 310-horsepower rating and is mated to a manual 4-speed transmission and has dual exhaust.

But, ours has been rebuilt and modified and now has a huge cam, Headers, custom exhaust, SLP ram air intake, a short throw 4-speed transmission, and 4:10 gears in the rear while still retaining Air Conditioning, Power steering, and Power brakes. When you gaze at the engine you will note that it sits in a very clean, painted, and detailed engine compartment too.

Interior

The interior of the Camaro is functional with its leather twin front bucket seats and matching rear seat, carpet and door panels, stereo radio system, factory steering wheel, power seats, cold a/c, power mirrors, center console holding the manual shifter with its black shifter ball, full factory SS dash and performance gauge package, the black power top, and power windows.

Exterior

The 2002 Camaro Z28 here at Skyway Classics is decked out in super stealthy black paint with SS badging on the side front fenders. It has the factory alloy silver mag wheels with wide performance black sidewall tires that give it the right stance and look.

The dual exhaust emits a great sound at idle or under acceleration and it has the power and looks to back it up.

Conclusion

The black 2002 Camaro SS here at Skyway Classics is a guaranteed future classic as it has that great modified LS 1 engine and manual drivetrain, so get it before it disappears to someone else's collection.

Great Experience -
“ Great experience. Contacted Al on car that I was interested in. I flew in and checked out car and all was well. He even fixed a few extra items that needed attention as well. He delivered car prompt and all was great. Would recommend him for any of your classic car purchases. ”
