Why This Car Is Special

The Ford Custom is an automobile which was produced by Ford in the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia in certain years from 1949 to 1981.

We have a 1950 Ford Custom here at Skyway Classics that was one of Fords most popular cars back the. It was nicknamed the “Bullet Nose” and ours has a 302 cubic inch engine in it now with a three-speed manual transmission, Bimini Blue exterior, and cloth bench seat interior.

Engine & Drivetrain

Under the hood sits a 302 cubic inch V-8 engine with plenty of power to propel this shoebox down the road and has a chrome open element air cleaner with a chrome lid and 302 decal, aluminum finned valve covers and breathers, aluminum intake, 4-barrel carb, modified distributor and electronics, aftermarket coil, cast iron exhaust manifolds, and backed by a 3-speed manual transmission.

The engine sits in a very clean and detailed engine compartment and even has the windshield washer bottle still intact on the firewall.

Interior

The interior of our Ford Custom looks like it did back in the fifties with its full bench seat upholstered in cloth with the matching door panels, factory steering wheel, factory dash and gauges, radio, the manual 3-speed shifter, and even fuzzy dice hanging from the rear view mirror.

Exterior

This is one of the most original uncut bullet nose Fords that we have had here at Skyway and it looks good painted in Blue with its paint and trim are in overall very good condition.

The windows are clear and intact as well and the body panels fit solidly and are straight, has Fender skirts, great chrome front and rear bumpers, trim, and hood ornament.

The trunk is in good condition too with a mat and the full-size spare wheel and tire.

This shoebox rolls on wide whitewall at all four corners on steel wheels with chrome full moon wheel covers.

Conclusion

If you want to step back to the Hot Rod days of the 1950s, there is no better car than this 1950 Ford we have at Skyway Classics.

It is pretty in blue with modern V8 power, and that classic look with the wide whitewalls.

Great Experience -
“ Great experience. Contacted Al on car that I was interested in. I flew in and checked out car and all was well. He even fixed a few extra items that needed attention as well. He delivered car prompt and all was great. Would recommend him for any of your classic car purchases. ”
